Vehicle Categories Eligible for Inspection:

  • M1 – Passenger car; M1G – All-wheel drive passenger car;
  • N1 – Commercial vehicles (under 3.5 tons); N1G – Off-road commercial vehicles (under and over 3.5 tons!);
  • Gas-powered (dual-fuel) vehicles (M1, N1);
  • L3E – Motorcycle
  • O1; O2 – Trailer, caravan, and motorhome
  • Inspection of temporarily deregistered vehicles (including those with official decrees!)

Vehicle Registration

During the technical inspection preparation, any issues discovered with the vehicle will be repaired, and the subsequent official technical inspection will be completed in one day if possible. If your vehicle meets the technical requirements, you can wait on-site.

The following documents are absolutely necessary for the official technical inspection:

  • Registration certificate
  • Valid mandatory insurance document
  • Vehicle title (if available)
  • Personal identification card
  • If the vehicle is brought for inspection by a representative, an authorization letter is required
  • For company vehicles, in addition to the above, a signature specimen and company extract are required.
  • In case of a sale, the original sales contract is required

In case of a failed technical inspection, the official examination fee is non-refundable.

What does the technical and environmental inspection consist of?
 
Environmental Inspection: testing the exhaust gases and pollutant content of the vehicle
 
Technical Condition Inspection of the Car: examination of the brakes, suspension, and shock absorbers, checking the condition of the exhaust system, inspecting the windshield for damages, examining the bodywork (surface dents, damage, and corrosion inspection), checking the seats and seatbelts, ensuring the proper functioning of the lights, indicators, and audible warning devices, verifying the condition and size of the tires and rims, and checking the presence and condition of mandatory accessories (first aid kit, warning triangle).

The preliminary inspection and technical testing of vehicles always include the following services:

Comprehensive administration and inspection of the vehicle based on technical inspection parameters. (The inspection does not include specific repairs.)
